Fluidic Identity

Its not always path breaking technology that makes great cars. Well, to Hyundai this could have been the case. I personally feel that the Korean car maker Hyundai, is one company which makes sincere efforts to bring out cars which are a quantum leap from its predecessors. There improvements in overall quality, model after model were outstanding, though when coming to the design department, their designers went on to do what they used to best – “A Design which never ushered brand identity ”.

As the saying goes “Better late than never”, Hyundai just redefined it-self with its new design ideology which, it itself calls “fluidic sculpture’ design language”. Path breaking for Hyundai, this super spiced up ideology sure creates an identity which matches with what Hyundai is.The company busy doing the cosmetic treatment to most of its models of today, it appears as though the cars went to some trashy make up artist.  The new design is all about a sharp line rolling round the car connecting the front elondated lights with the stretched tail lights. Edges appear sharp and gives an impression of a sporty feel which is quiet far fetched with what it has under the hood.

Fluidic sure projects modernity though its sustainability for more than 5 years, is a big bargain. The looks are striking but the element of class lacks on every panel. Sure Koreans can’t be Italians when coming to style, but the designers could have added some elements which did the class department. But its Hyundai we are taking about, and they could bring about some new fancy design ideology which could trash away the current fluidic.
